Taglialatella Galleries is pleased to announce a collaborative effort with The Lower East Side Girls Club, to offer this iconic, original Banksy graffiti wall for sale to help fund their charitable work with the girls and environmental groups of Chiapas, Mexico. Proceeds from the sale will support the educational activities of Club Balam, the Girls Club photography program in Chiapas since 1999 (www.girlsclubworldwide.org) and Orchideas Moxviquil Botanical Garden (http://www.orchidsmexico.com/), training the next generation of young environmentalists. The untitled “Mariachi Player” will be unveiled on October 1st at the opening of Taglialatella’s comprehensive exhibition of Banksy’s artwork, spanning a full decade. The month-long exhibition will include works on paper, unique paintings, and this original graffiti wall as the featured work. The collection will comprise of approximately 50 works beginning with an early-career canvas painting created in 2000 and rounded out by prints published in 2010, the date of Banksy's most recent limited edition release for public acquisition.
