Logan Hicks debuts his latest mural alongside fellow artists Shepard Fairey, How Nosm, and ONEQ at Pow! Wow! Festival in Hawaii, a gathering of contemporary artists that engages with the broader community of modern Honululu. Hicks used his massive Giverny canvas, created and displayed recently at Scope Art Fair during Miami Art Week, which was conveniently the same size as the wall given to him for this project. The piece was inspired by Hicks' travels in France this past summer where he was inspired by the timeless beauty of Monet's private gardens in Giverny.
The artist himself stated that, "the lush green landscapes in Hawaii mirror the environment of Monet’s Garden," making it the ideal mural choice.
