Art for Relief | Markus Klinko "Smoking"

Taglialatella Galleries is excited to announce the fourth installment of the Art for Relief campaign, featuring internationally renowned artists seeking to share positive imagery and make a charitable effort to assist those in need at this difficult time through art.

Taglialatella X Markus Klinko will be featuring a special limited edition black and white photograph of David Bowie from his “Heathens” album cover photoshoot. This piece, entitled “Smoking”, is a special edition of 25 photographs featuring the late singer gazing up moodily, with a cigarette between his fingers. Klinko had the honor of photographing Bowie in his last large-scale photoshoot before his passing and is excited to release this work as a part of Art for Relief. As with all artists who participate in the Art for Relief, 10% of all sales will be donated directly to the artist’s charity of choice. Klinko has selected NHS Charities Together to be the recipient of the 10% of sales from “Smoking” as well as his entire archive of photographs for the duration of this pandemic, to support NHS staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients. NHS Charities Together provide support to hospitals to help patients access the best possible care when they need it the most.

Please see below for the details on “Smoking” by Markus Klinko. Shipping date TBD. Sales are subject to additional shipping fees and state taxes. If you would like to donate aside from a purchase of artwork, you can also visit the NHS Charities Together website to contribute directly. Email info@djtfa.com for further details or to view a selection of additional works from Klinko’s archive and stay tuned for the next Art for Relief campaign by Taglialatella Galleries.
